Short-term relief of occasional constipation in adults
How to use it: Use only the product’s labeled preparation and directions. Do not combine laxatives or continue repeated use without medical advice.
Senna may cause abdominal cramping, discomfort, or diarrhea. Avoid self-treatment when severe abdominal pain, vomiting, abdominal swelling, inability to pass stool or gas, or blood in stool is present; seek medical care. Ask a clinician before use in pregnancy, in children, or with medical conditions or medicines.
Get medical care for symptoms that are severe, last longer than expected, get worse, or otherwise concern you.
Practical ways to use the ingredient may not provide the same form or amount discussed in the evidence.
